General Assistance
211 OC is a health and human resources organization that connects individuals and families with community-based programs, including medical and dental clinics, immunizations, prescription assistance, food, homeless shelters, elder and child care, legal aid, and more. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, simply dial 2-1-1 or search for local health and human services resources.
Medi-Cal
Check your Medi-Cal eligibility on the Covered California website.
Food Assistance
CalFresh can help you and your family get access to healthy food. Use CalFresh benefits at most grocery stores and even farmers markets to buy items such as bread, nuts, rice, and more. Check your eligibility and apply here.
Project Food Box provides nutritious, farm-fresh produce boxes to communities in need and medically-tailored meals for Medi-Cal members with qualifying health conditions.
LifeSpring Home Nutrition works with Medi-Cal and CalOptima to prepare and personally deliver medically-tailored meals to communities in Southern California with special dietary needs.
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Assistance

Domestic Violence Assistance
If you are a victim of domestic violence, contact the team at Human Options today. They provide safe emergency shelter, legal support, financial assistance, ongoing counseling, and other services.
